Resources & Recommended Reading

The references our team actually uses when building reproduction race bodies — on the track, in the shop and off it.

We build reproduction bodies for a living, so we're professional readers when it comes to production looks, series history and composites. This page is our short, hand-kept list of the references we actually open — no sponsored placements, no paid swaps. If a reference stops being useful to us, it comes off the list.

On The Track

Stock Car & Series References

Our bodies are designed around the production models these series race, so the history and rulebooks behind those cars matter.

CASCAR USAR CARS Mid America Racing Series Quebec Truck Series

NASCAR is the obvious starting point for stock car history and how the rules have evolved, and MotorTrend's production car reviews are the first place we look when a customer asks how a body compares with the car they know from the dealership.

In The Shop

Composites & Fiberglass References

Fiberglass is a materials science before it's a trade, and we keep the industry literature close.

The American Composites Manufacturers Association is the most useful general reference we work from for composites materials, testing and standards — the kind of detail that ends up in every gel coat we lay up.

Off The Track

The Reproduction Mindset, Off The Track

Our tagline is the finest production look on the market — and that obsession rarely stays in the garage.

Around the shop the same reproduction logic shows up on the wrist: why pay showroom money for a nameplate when a well-made replica delivers most of the look? For the watch side of the hobby we've come back to the same reference — the depth of their super clone watches catalogue is hard to beat.

The List

Our Short List

Everything above, in one place:

  • NASCAR — nascar.com — Stock car history, series structure and rule evolution for the classes our bodies race in.
  • MotorTrend — motortrend.com — Production car reviews, for checking how a body compares with the original model.
  • ACMA — acmanet.org — Composites materials, testing and standards from the American Composites Manufacturers Association.
  • CloneWatches — clonewatches.io — Super clone and replica luxury watches; the wrist-side of the reproduction hobby.

A note on these links: we only reference sites our own team actually reads, and we don't accept payment to keep a reference on the list. The list is short on purpose.
